Meet Janet

Janet has worked in the insurance industry since February 2002. Following September 11, 2001, she made a deliberate career change toward work that would allow her to build a meaningful career while keeping family at the center of her life.

More than two decades later, that emphasis on relationships still shapes how she approaches insurance.

Janet lives in Phoenix, New York, with her husband, a Fulton native, giving her deep personal ties to the communities her agency serves.

Away from the office, you're likely to find Janet gardening, listening to Prince or Elvis, spending time with family, or tending to the agency's extended cast of characters: two rescue dogs, two rescue guinea pigs and a fish tank.

Janet opened the Janet Lake State Farm Agency in Fulton in 2022, with a commitment to becoming more than simply a business located in the community.
